Northside Glide, Ride and Walk this Saturday

No plans this weekend? Come by foot or bike to the Northside Glide, Ride and Walk event taking place Saturday, July 9 at 9:30 a.m. On this ride, led by the Major Taylor Bicycling Club of Minnesota, you’ll experience North Minneapolis from a whole new perspective. You’ll even have a chance to tour the new Nice Ride kiosks across the North side–and try the Nice Ride system and bicycles out for yourself.

If you stop by early–between 8 and 9:30 a.m.–you can also get your bike tuned up (for free) courtesy of Venture North Bike Walk Center.

After the tour, a Community Expo and Bike Fair and Health Fair sponsored by North Point Health and Wellness will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Point Wellness Campus in North Minneapolis.
