At Bike Walk Move, we’re all about sharing the beauty of Minnesota summers from the view on two wheels. That’s why we jumped at the chance to support local cyclist and creative strategist Paul Isakson when he began to share photos via Instagram and Twitter of his adventures as he pedaled across town on his Nice Ride bike. He called it the “Summer of Nice Rides.” We thought he was onto something.
So, we helped him launch the Summer of Nice Rides blog, a place to share photos taken from your rides around town. The idea is simple. You ride your bike (or a Nice Ride bike) around the Twin Cities’ 75-plus miles of trails. You take photos of your rides from your camera phone. You share those pics by sending a simple email to the Summer of Nice Rides blog. Yep, it really is that easy.
Just shoot an email to summerofnicerides@posterous.com with your photo attached and the title of your post as the subject line (including your Twitter handle, if you have one). The title of your post could also include where you rode (i.e., the trail, destination, etc.). For more suggestions on how to post, check out the blog’s “Submit” section.
We can’t wait to see where you go during the Summer of Nice Rides!
Note: Photos in post are from Paul Isakson’s rides using the Nice Ride system.
