On Saturday, July 9, the Major Taylor Bicycle Club of Minnesota hosted its first-ever NorthSide Glide Ride event in north Minneapolis. A group of 30-40 cyclists and walkers gathered at NorthPoint Wellness Center and rode and walked west down Plymouth Avenue into Theodore Wirth Park and then onto the Luce Line Trail.
The ride/walk gave participants a great chance to see north Minneapolis from a new perspective. Here are a few shots that highlighted the morning ride:

Cylists and walkers gathered at NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center to start the ride.

Bike Walk Ambassadors were on hand to provide free bicycle tune-ups.

The tools of the trade.

Even the youngest cyclists were excited for the NorthSide Glide Ride.
